Pionair completes the 34th and final Hobart to Sydney fisheries cargo flight. Launched by the Tasmanian Govt in conjunction with DHL and Pionair these flights were in response to the inability to export seafood during the Covid crisis. Pionair was commended for its exceptional service and reliability from its clients
4 very successful years of flying cargo for Virgin Australia comes to a close with the last flights on Friday 8th May.
A new chapter begins on Monday the 11th with the contract moving to Qantas !

Pionair takes delivery of a 2011 build Embraer E190-E1 named "Cinderella" This acquisition ushers in a new era for the company. VH-SEF touched down at Bankstown at 5.20 pm after ferrying from Switzerland. The aircraft sports the companies new livery and entry into service is expected early 2021.
A series of VIP charter flights for American Actor Will Smith to Vanuatu and other exotic ports
VH-SAJ enters service with a series of charters for QANTAS. This is Pionair's first of 3 BAe146-300QT.
A series of flights to move RFS personel around the east coast of Australia during the bushfires.
Carried the N.S.W. Premier and team to view the devastation.
VH-PDX and VH-PDW, Convair 580 Freighters are donated to the Historical Aircrafrt Restoration Society (HARS). One aircraft is flown to Parkes NSW for storage and the other preserved at Bankstown for future transportation to Albion Park.
